DESIRES OF THE HEART A Professional Day for all
Pastoral Ministers Bob Howlett December 12, 2008
 A deepening
awareness and nurturing of our deepest desires are keys to the inner journey.
As we reflect on the source of these desires, we will consider how to be with
them in our more contemplative moments. Our holy longing, which Ronald
Rolheiser writes about, connects us with all others on the journey. Particular
focus is given to help participants not only gain deeper personal insight, but
also to explore desires as revealed in the hearts of those they companion. We
look at how a truly authentic inner journey leads to transformation of
perception and a more faithful living of the gospel message.
Bob
Howlett, our presenter, is a certified pastoral counselor and spiritual
director. His experience in the field of spirituality includes leading retreat,
presenting workshops, and spiritual direction.
